WHEN DO I GO TO CLASS? (ATTENDANCE POLICY)

Our goal is to help you complete the OPAC program with regular attendance. Because of this, we have established the following guidelines for you to follow.

· Typical group attendance is one (1) time per week. However, clients may make up an excused absence the week after the absence takes place. If you would like to attend 2 groups per week without receiving credit for both you may at no additional charge.

· If you need to miss a group, please call the office @ 541-229-0510, within 24 hours (before or after) and your absence will be excused. However, if we do not receive a call your absence will be considered unexcused. No more than 1 group can be missed without making prior arrangements with Abby, the Program manager.

· When 2 or more unexcused absences are missed in a month, an attendance warning will be issued. A non-compliance report will be issued because of not attending class after the attendance warning is given. As a result, FARA is required to report your non-compliance to your supervising agent (e.g. Parole and Probation, Department of Human Services, Douglas County Courts, or another agency).

HOW DO I FINISH THE PROGRAM?

1) COMPLETE MANDATED NUMBER OF CLASSES

Your number of required classes has been determined by your referring agent (PO, Caseworker, QRA, Judge) and is between 36 groups. When you have completed 32 classes and if your account is paid your agent will be notified. He/She will determine at that time if you qualify for graduation at 36 groups.

2) FULL PAYMENT OF YOUR BILL

Your obligation to the program has not been satisfied until your account is paid in full. In some cases, your referring agent may want you to continue to attend classes until your balance is paid.
