WHAT IS DOME SPE?

Dome Spe is Douglas County’s Transitional Living Program, a multiphase service that aims to supports young adults ages 18–24 who lack stable housing or support systems. The Transitional Living program provides participants with the skills necessary to successfully transition into the community. TLP is a program based on personal responsibility, meaning that what you gain from the program depends on what you put into it. Our rules, policies, and procedures are designed to ensure your safety, health, and overall well-being.

Our Mission

Dome Spe's mission is to assist young adults who are experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity in building a foundation for stable living. We believe that everyone deserves a safe space to thrive, learn, rest, and receive encouragement without pressure and judgment. Our guiding principles are Responsiveness, Refuge, Connection, Foundation, and Autonomy. We strive to operate within these principles to help our clients create a lasting foundation by offering a welcoming, home-like environment for short-term housing and support for young adults aged 18 to 24

What We Offer

  • HOUSING

    • Safe and comfortable accommodation for young adults ages 18 to 24

  • Stability and Safety

    • 24 hr. video surveillance. Admin staff available for crisis and emergency's

  • Planned Meals and Open Kitchen

    • Two planned community dinners each week, along with an open kitchen

  • Transportation

    • Transportation for appointments, job interviews, school, Etc

  • Case Management

    • Case management for homeless youth delivers targeted support that connects young people to resources

  • Mental Health & Wellness Support

    • Foster open communication, promote self-care, and ensure a safe, stigma-free environment

  • Employment and Skills Development

    • Support employment placement and training programs to build economic security and independence

Full washer and drier set up to bring in your clothes to get them cleaned for free.
